First of all, DON'T DELETE FOLDER 1. This is a system folder that you should not touch.

Dec 23, 2011  Click the disclosure triangle next to Sharing & Permissions to display permissions for the selected file or folder. Click the lock and authenticate with an administrator account. Use the menus next to users and groups to change the permissions. Feb 21, 2011  Select the file or app in the Finder you want to edit permissions for. Hit Command+i to “Get Info” about the selected file (or go to File Get Info) At the bottom of the Get Info window, you’ll see “Sharing & Permissions”, select the arrow to drop down the options.

Folder 2. and 3. are technically the same folder. They are pointing to the same files/folder on the hard drive. Try this: have bothe windows open and move a file into the Patches folder in one window. It will appear also on the other folder. Move a file into the Drummer folder. It will appear in the other folder too.

Leave Folder 2. It is just for compatibility reasons for Logic 9. If you delete it, the files would still be in the 'Audio Music Apps', but you would have no access to them from Logic 9.

Everything you do in LPX, GarageBand X and MainStage happens in the same 'Audio Music Apps'. They all access now the same folder. This makes file management so much easier for the three apps because they don't need their separate Library directory anymore.

I explain that ned concept throughout in great details throughout my manual 'Logic Pro X - How it Works'. Here is just a screenshot from the Library chapter that discusses all those different settings files (Patch, Channel Strip Settings, Plugin Settings, EXS Instrument)

Hope that helps

Hello, Narvel99.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

Music Manager App Permissions Mac Os X Update

This sounds like something may be wrong with your iTunes media folder permissions. I would recommend changing and repairing the permissions as outlined in the first article below. Read and write is the preferred permission. I have also included the default iTunes media folder location directly below.

About your iTunes library files

Your iTunes library files track the media you add to iTunes, how you've organized it, and other information such as playlists. By default, these two files are in your iTunes folder. Find your folder:

Ensure correct spelling and spacing - Examples: 'paper jam'. Tips for better search results. Hp deskjet 3050a driver software.
